Health

The health and well-being of your child is paramount to us and we will work with you to support your child’s individual needs. Any health-related information, including allergies and/or intolerances must be included on your child’s registration form and we ask that you keep us informed of any changes or developments at all times. We operate a NO nuts policy and ask that you do NOT include food items with nuts in your child's lunches, (including peanut butter, Nutella or chocolate spread, Naked bar range or similar).

Accidents and Injuries

There will always be trained first aiders at Peapod at all times. Details of accidents and incidents are recorded for your information. Please inform a staff member of any injuries that have occurred outside of the setting.

Illnesses

Please contact us as soon as possible if your child will not be attending Pre-School due to illness. Calpol or similar pain relief should not be administered to your child prior to attending.

If your child has sickness and/or diarrhoea they must remain at home. They will not be allowed to return to Pre-School until they have been free of symptoms for 48 hours.

We are committed to maintaining the highest possible standards of hygiene in and around our premises. Frequent handwashing and good respiratory hygiene was the central focus for keeping coronavirus at bay and these practices have continued. We follow government guidance and have frequent updates from Norfolk County Council regarding practice and procedures regarding health.
