Understanding Tapestry

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets out the requirements for children's learning and development, including assessments. All children attending Peapod Pre-School have a personal Learning Journey which records photos, observations, assessments and comments, in line with our EYFS curriculum, to build up a record of your child’s experiences and progress during their time with us. 

We use Tapestry, an educational software system, which is hosted in the UK on secure servers. You will have secure access (via email address and password) to your child’s Learning Journey and, in addition to viewing our contributions, we encourage you to add to it by uploading photos and comments, or you can comment on observations made by us.
